Did Kurt Cobain really pull the trigger? On April 5th 1994 Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of alternative rock band Nirvana, allegedly took his own life. Leaving behind a wife, a 19-month-old daughter, scores of friends and millions of fans, there was no apparent reason for this shock suicide. He locked himself in a room at his home put a gun to his head and shot himself. As with all famous deaths, this suicide left many questions unanswered and a string of conspiracy theories. However, the amount of evidence that exists which points toward murder is overwhelming. In this dissertation I aim to prove that Cobain did not pull the trigger of the gun that he allegedly shot himself with and was not alone in the room when he died.
