Ever since cloning became a controversial issue in February 1997, people have been wondering whether it is ethically and morally right to clone humans. The possible ability to clone human beings is now being deeply explored and people are even more concerned whether it is actually right or wrong.
Cloning is a method that involves the production of a group of identical cells or organisms that all derive from a single individual. The key feature of each human being is that he or she presents a combination of genotype and the interaction with the surrounding environment, which is unique. Cloning can be regarded as the main factor which will take away this unique formation of each individual. By undermining this distinction between people and their uniqueness, we are actually disregarding our differential esteem for human life. The possibility of widespread acceptance of human cloning could lead our society to regard all people as being virtually replaceable or interchangeable. In other words, if
