Yes, I like the comedy of Tartufee by Moliere. I thought the play was funny and is was something that everyone could relate too. I am sure we have all known people who are religious hypocrites. Moliere’s purpose was to mock a religious hypocrite in such a manner that the society of his time could be enlightened to his own passion with religion. I have met several people like that because they go to church or because they know a lot of the Bible or because they have had certain spiritual experiences than others that they are better than everyone else. I believe that to be real arrogant. I believe God hates that. There are many people like Tartuffe that hide behind the word of God and make believe they are better. I had a friend like that she tried to convert me to her religion. She said that her religion was the best and that it had saved her. Later I found out that she was stealing and doing drugs. I don’t mean to criticize her because I believe people make mistakes in life and that no one is perfect.
