    What is Wakeboarding? What is wakeboarding? Wakeboarding is a mix between water-skiing, snowboarding, and surfing. It is like water-skiing because you are getting pulled behind a boat hanging on to a rope. It is like snowboarding because the tricks are similar and you are strapped to the board. It is like surfing because you have to carve and just let the wake control you. A saying that is used a lot in wakeboarding is “Go big or go home”. That means either go all out and not worry about the consequences or get in the boat and let someone else ride. Boats can make or break a rider. Professionals aren’t riding behind any fishing boats; they are riding behind forty to fifty thousand dollar, two and a half foot wake producing, fifteen person capacity, luxury boat. Tige and Mastercraft are the world’s leading boat manufacturers. Some options of these boats are towers, speakers, ballast, TV and cruise control.
