Advantages/Disadvantages of the British and the Colonists

    In the mid 18th century, the British found themselves faced with rebellious colonies . They quickly realized they had to fight to keep what they felt was rightfully theirs - a group of colonies established to serve them, their mother country. The colonies, who were experiencing a similar revelation, joined together to defend what they also believed was a just cause - freedom from unfair British policies. Both sides, having their own separate disadvantages, would have to overcome those obstacles and focus on the individual strengths they did posses in order to be successful in the American Revolutionary War.
