After looking at four different news sites I have found that the following are the most important news articles.
On the BBC was the story about George Bush stating that he will defeat Iraq resistance. This is followed by Geoff Hoon’s article, stating that he will be sending more troops over to Iraq. The other main news article is the one to do with Bill Morris and workers’ rights.
On ITV the main story was about Geoff Hoon sending more troops over to Iraq. The ITV consider this to be of more importance than President Bush’s speech. This is only mentioned briefly in a small sentence. The other main news article is about the missing Lord Lucan.
On the Times Online, the main news article is about Geoff Hoon sending more troops over to Iraq, but this time no mention is made about President Bush’s speech. The other main news article this time is about Australia’s serial killers, which none of the other news websites mentioned anything about.
On the Sun, the main news article is about Sven’s speech stating that “Fans will die”. The other article of significant importance is about the chemical attack training, which had happened in one of London Tube Stations. No mention at all was made about Iraq, unlike the
