Cue For Treason: Kit, not your average.
The role of females in the 1600’s was much different than it is now. In this book
Cue for Treason, Kit, a remarkable young female, shows the reader something
unexpected. While most females were looked at as unimportant and with less authority,
Kit defied that. While the female was at home cooking, cleaning and doing typical
females activities, Kit was out on an adventure. She left her old life behind and seeked
one of more value. Kit is very unorthodox to other women of the 1600’s because of her
adventurous personality, her keen intuition and willingness to succeed.
Kit was introduced into the book as a male, a young boy in contest with Peter.
