Woodrow Wilson
Woodrow Wilson, one of the greatest men in American history, successfully led our nation through World War I. His firm beliefs and action created the lasting remembrance of being a champion of democracy. “As a spokesman for humanity in a world crisis, he stood for integrity, purity of purpose, and responsibility.” (Mulder) Wilson advocated many social changes in America that alone would have given him a lasting legacy. These include the vision to see a Federal Reserve System created, the establishment of the Federal Trade Commission, and many labor laws, including important steps in banning child labor. Wilson had a great vision and these government programs and bills are a great example of his desire to improve America. However Wilson’s greatest accomplishment was not intended for America
