    Baka/American Culture Many Americans always wonder what it would be like to live in the forest. What they don’t know is that living in the forest isn’t very easy as oppose to living in America. In America Americans don’t face the problem with moving and building their homes themselfs. As for the Baka, the people of the Cameroon forest do not have to wake up and face the early morning traffic on the way to work. The Baka live in interesting houses made of Tilipi leaves. They can be compared to little igloos. The women make these temporary homes. They make them with what seem to be flexible branches , because they bend the branches to form a dome shape.
