Buckminster Fuller
Buckminster fuller is an American architect, scientist, engineer, and inventor. Although he never obtained a degree in architecture, he was an architect and engineer who designed revolutionary structures. In the post war period architect start thinking of the coming Utopia technology and by the promising of a period of raped reconstruction. In this paper I am going to talk about the theory of mass production and a new architecture that care about environment that Fuller developed. We know that the building currently consume half the world’s energy and significantly add to the spiral of pollution through the consumption of non-renewable fossil foul.
Fuller start to developed the idea of what he called comprehensive anticipatory design science, which attempt to anticipate and solve humanity’s major problems by providing more and more life support for everybody with less and less resources. I mean that he believe that we can produce shelter to everyone, not be the use of forest product and other material that cause pollution. He think that true modern architecture is arrived by the new material and engineering logic of new construction techniques. T
