In recent history, society has argued that different types of mental disorders such as schizophrenia, and multiple personality disorder, among other complications were reasons for committing serious crimes such as rape and murder. Reviewing the background and strictly evaluating these criminals proves whether or not all of these claims are one hundred percent true.
Violence is the exertion of any physical force so as to injure or abuse another person or thing. Some psychiatric conditions are strongly associated with violent, aggressive, or agitated behavior. For example, 12 to 15 percent of schizophrenic patients are violent. Of this group, 90 percent show positive signs, and many are paranoid schizophrenics. Other examples of conditions associated with violence are personality disorders including antisocial and mood disorders including mania.
It is possible that the causes and effects of schizophrenia control the actions of criminals.
