Human Cloning
It is normal to think unnatural thoughts when the question of whether or not a human being can be cloned. It is normal because it is unnatural, however, it can be done. In 1997 a sheep named Dolly was made from a single cell of another sheep. When this was done it raised a lot of controversy and the United States of America under the Clinton administration proposed to ban it. Most people imagine exact duplicates of another individual, and they think horrible thoughts like fifty Osama Bin Ladens running around terrorizing the U.S. They may even think it would be cool to have a little mini-me running around like on Austin Powers. Cloning is an extremely advanced medical technology, which is almost science fiction. However it is reality and we need to be careful of how we use it. It is ethical to clone a sheep or a cow to study its effects. The results are not definite at this time, however, they have not proved to be beneficial and it is not advisable to clone a human being.
