Kurt Cobain
Kurt Cobain has changed people’s perceptive on fame. When most people hear the word fame, they think of money, glory, and happiness, but with Kurt, he had money and glory, but seriously lacked happiness. He was loved by millions of people, but did not love himself and that is the tragedy of it all, he was his own destruction.
On April 5, 1994, the world lost one of its most revolutionary musicians of all time. Nirvana totally changed the sound of the 90’s and gave Rock and Roll a big comeback. Before the 90’s music consisted the sounds of Wilson Phillips and Michael Bolton. Nirvana feed the hungry ears of the million of starving music lovers all over the world, who had suffered for 10 years of hair bands and synthesizer pop. Without Nirvana, many of the bands that exist today would cease to exist. They defined the sound of the 90’s, which would not have been the same without them.
Kurt Donald Cobain was born on February 20, 1967 in Aberdeen, Washington to the parents of Donald and Wendy Cobain. His mom, Wendy, spent all of her time at home taking care of Kurt; while his dad, Don, worked as an auto mechanic. Even as a young child, Kurt, showed an interest in music. Wendy's family had a history of musicans in the family.
