"On Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 took off from Logan Airport Boston, Massachusetts. The Boeing 767 departed at 7:45 on what was to be a regularly routed trip from Boston to Los Angeles, California. It carried 91 passengers, nine flight attendants, and two pilots. At some point after takeoff the plane was hijacked. Although the actual events that took place within the airliner are unknown, it is suspected that the five hijackers took control of the plane, and at 8:48 AM, they deliberately crashed it into the North Tower of the World Trade Center between the 84th and 85th floors." If you were anywhere on this day, this is all you heard all day on all news stations, radios, and in peoples conversations. Everyone could not hardly believe what had just happened, everyone in the country was very devastated, shocked and confused as to why it happened. Why would some one do this to the United States? It was a sad day in every part of the United States.
