Afghanistan
Daily life for children in Afghanistan is very hard and strenuous.
Education The children are usually just ignored. There are very few educated children in Afghanistan. The majority of children that are educated are girls. The girls are the ones that are supposed to learn and the boys are used for work. The education that the girls encounter are mostly things that their parents have learned and are passed down.
Working Life~ The working life or a child consists of waking up eating a little breakfast and getting sent off to fields to work with crops, animals ect.
As you can see the children of Afghanistan are less fortunate when it comes to their daily life.
Sierra Leone
More then 5,000 children under the age of 18 have fought in Sierra Leone’s international armed conflict. Rebel forces to carry goods and cook have also used a similar number of both girls and boys. Girls have been raped and forced into sexual slavery.
Education~ The education in the lives of the children of Sierra Leone have been very small considering all they have been put through with fighting in combat.
