AUSTRALIA AND CHINA
Australia and china both have very independent political and legal systems. Both countries political and legal systems are heavily influenced through their history and development in society to form a national identity. Australia’s political and legal system was, and still is linked to the British system through adopting the west minister system. China’s political and legal system is now socialist although it was a dynastic dictatorship before the people of china’s republic was formed in 1949. After the Cultural Revolution the national peoples congress developed a new state constitution.
Australia and china both have constitutions that state key principles that underlie the political systems.
In china the constitution states:
· The state upholds the uniformity and dignity of the socialist legal system
· No organization or individual may enjoy the privilege of being above the Constitution and the law.
· All state organs, the armed forces, all political parties and public organizations, and all enterprises and undertakings must abide by the Constitution and the law. All acts in violation of the Constitution and the law mus
