Embryo's
The body is made up of 210 different kinds of tissues, and stem cells are the cells that make up and originate those tissues. Stem cells are unique in the way that they can form more specialized cells, but they stop there; not being able to form a full human being. Stem cells are different and of a lesser value than the embryo. This idea seems almost inconsistent with the fact that even though they aren’t equal, destroying the embryo is the most common and best found way to obtain the stem cells. This debate weighs both the pro’s and con’s of this research, and concludes that stem cell research is wrong because it goes against the morals and oaths of our country. (Reese, Charley)
