Electromagnetic Spectrum
There are many different types of electromagnetic waves in the electromagnetic spectrum. All of the waves are electromagnetic. The spectrum consists of these waves:
Radio waves: They allow communication.
Microwaves: They are used for cooking and also for mobile phones.
Infra red: They are use for cooking, night vision, and recently they are being used to send information via mobile phones to other phones or computers to other devices.
Visible light: For seeing, this is the only visible electromagnetic wave.
Ultraviolet: For suntans
X-Rays: for seeing broken bones.
Gamma Rays: For treating cancer.
