There are many plants living on the Forest floor. Some plants are very tiny and some plants are as big as the trees. The plants on the forest floor have to adapt to where they live because it’s dark. The Forest floor doesn’t get very much sunlight because the leaves on the trees of the canopy layer block the sunlight from getting to the floor. The rainforest produces more than 80 inches of rain per year. The plants have leaves that let the rain drip off because if they don’t, it will brake the stalk of the plant if the water gets too heavy. The leaves are
