Y Tu Mama Tambien I personally don’t really enjoy Y Tu Mama Tambien. The only way you can enjoy it is if you’re very familiar with Mexican history. For example, how the narrator tells the story of how the man was hit by the bus and it seems as if that sequence is just tossed into the movie and has nothing to do with the plot and also the time the narrator tells the story of Tenoch’s nanny who he called his mother until he was four, but in actuality there is meaning behind it and your average viewer probably doesn’t even realize this. But anyways, the movie starts off with Julio and Tenoch, who are best friends even though they come from different social classes, Julio being from the lower class and Tenoch the upper, saying goodbye to their girlfriends as the girls leave for Europe for the summer.
