Julio Eglesia
Julio Jose Iglesias de La Cueva, is the full name of one of the most famous Spanish singers of all-time. He has also sold more records than any Spanish singer has ever. He had his star put on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood in 1985, and is the only performer ever to be given the Diamond Record Award by the Guinness Book of World Records for selling more records in more languages than any person ever before. Julio has recorded seventy-six albums and has sold over two hundred million records worldwide.
Julio Iglesias born on September twenty-third in 1943 is the oldest son of Dr. Julio Iglesias Puga and Maria Del Rosario de la Cueva y Persinan; he also has a brother named Carlos. Julio went to Sagrados Corasones High School, where he was rejected from their chorus, and later studied law at Colegio Mayor de San Pablo with the hope of becoming a career diplomat. Julio was also an outstanding soccer player, and while studying law he landed his dream job, played pro soccer for the Real Madrid soccer team as the team’s goal keeper. While traveling he and some of his teammates were in a car accident that left Julio paralyzed for a year and ending his soccer career.
